Many girls / women choose to exercise not because they want to lose weight. They depend on improving the appearance of the body, and after a more detailed interview, it turns out that the problem is not the proportion of silhouette (although here each of us will always find something to work on) and the quality of the skin. It is lack of firmness, not tense. It is important to realize that the muscles are one and the other is the skin . Exercises affect the general improvement of appearance, but the damage, burns, aging caused by excessive sunbathing are not to jump. Most questioned women will say that they protect the skin with high filters, and if you look in a drugstore you will notice that mostly 6 shades are missing from the shelves, maybe 12, which means more protection against conscience than the harmful effects of sunlight.


Fortunately, the awareness of the consequences of excessive sunbathing is growing, but still some of us are hardly happy to say goodbye to summer vacations. The mark of a successful holiday is the color of the tan. "There was no weather? You did not sunbathe!" Standard. Truth? ;)


I will not be younger. I know my skin would look better if I have always been more sensible in sunbathing. It still happens to me, but the color of the body I owe to the self tanning. I wrote about him probably three years ago on the blog and I am still faithful to him, because I did not happen to streak it. Good peeling, some olives for elbows and tan ready. It takes some time, practice, but it is worth using this alternative.


If it's not too late then I'm appealing - take care of your skin as it will not ruin anything. There are no such exercises and trainings, and the topic of melanoma will not even begin to scrape!

Hair bands that do not slide down.Do Ivy Bands work?






Pretty recently, Ivy Bands hair bands came into my hands. I want to share with you my opinion on them. Do they really stick on their head as the manufacturer asserts? They say they will survive the marathon and parachute jump!





The bands are nicely made at first glance you see that they are of good quality. They have cute details such as a mini logo with the company logo and inscriptions on the bottom of the eraser. Hard to grasp the neon color in the picture, and just such a shade of pink has my headband.





In fact, wearing such a bandage is a bit unfounded for me, because I do not have shaved hair or bangs that would fall on the face during exercise, but it is known - female curiosity. Actually, the headband does not move to the back of the head. I put it very close to my forehead because it looks so good to me. Every time she moved about a centimeter back and I had a constant habit of correcting her to sit where I wanted her. I improve my pony several times during training and my armband did not have to.
So I repeat to the producer - this headband does not slide off the head. If you are looking for something similar, or you like it as a gadget then this is worth a try. I can not answer for other shapes of heads, but with my was ok. It costs about 25 zł.



The material that comes in contact with the hair is not silicone as I expected and something I called "kizimizi" when I was a kid. I now have a hole in my head and I will not recall the proper name. Help!

I have not mentioned yet another recommendation. With plastic or metal bands I said goodbye long ago, because after a few hours of wearing began to hurt my head. Ivy Bands does not squeeze the head to such an extent and I forget to wear it.


There is only one. I look strange to her, but it's just a matter of my mouth or my habit.

This is not the first post on the blog where I am referring to the topic of stretching to twist, but I decided to refresh the film on You Tube a bit, because I know that you like the one that you can turn on and do at the appointed time, not just the video with the presentation of the exercise.


For many people stretching is a nasty obligation, and for me enormous relaxation. I would like everyone to share my attitude. I hope that I will encourage you to do some stretching.

4 common causes of knee pain after exercise. How to avoid it?

Knee pain can have various causes and should always be a stimulus for deeper analysis, and if it does not stop after a rest, visit a doctor. We have only one body. You have to respect them. 



Let's move on to the most common causes of this disturbing ailment.




1. No depreciation during dynamic exercises


jumps, skips, burpees, clowns, etc. In this section, I do not mean to wear shoes, and the ability to cushion the body during landing on the ground. I will write it down. Some fall to the ground like a log, in spite of shoes for 500 zlotys, and others in a delicate way even barefoot. The weight of the body is not here to such great importance, though of course, high overweight or obesity combined with jumps is a big risk.

After each jump, try to land in a noisy way. If your training makes the floor shake and your neighbors get mad, you can rest assured that your knees and spine are not lightweight.





2. Inadequate shoes


In my opinion it is less important than the first point, but worth mentioning about it. Conversom, Vansom, white fashionable sneakers, barefoot training we say - NO. I myself prefer a fairly hard sole for exercise, but remember the principle:

More dynamic training (more jumping) - thicker sole with higher cushioning
Weight training, quiet sit-ups, drooping (no jumping) - just a thin sole
Exercises performed on the mat, at a calmer pace, belly, stretching - let the foot pooddycha (you can let the shoes off)

3. Incorrect technique


about which I wrote more than once. People are divided into two groups. Some are able to perform movement tasks by looking at another person and leaving them unmistakably, while others need correcting, guidance and time to do the same exercise.


*Tip
If you belong to the second group, I commit you to analyze your technique by the mirror. Better yet - your technicians will look at your professional trainer. The best experience, because it will just catch what is almost invisible to the eye.

Too often training


Even if you can jump like a tiger, you have great shoes and book techniques you will not avoid joint fatigue if you work too hard or are too busy. People who start their adventure with sport usually have less endurance, so the amount of workout is not so dizzy and ponds have time to adapt to the new style of spending time. There is still a group - training "upswing". A few weeks of systematic exercises are interwoven with weeks of complete laziness, where the only activity is getting to the car. When the bulb comes in a couple of hours a day, the joints are simply not prepared for such intense exercises, and the pain signals that fatigue.


*Tip
Do not skip the adaptation period - there are no short cuts. Remember the days spent resting. Take a relaxing bath, go to the sauna. Treat your body with respect.


Also do not forget about stretching and / or roll. Our bodies are made of anatomical tapes and often joint pain can be caused by muscle contractures that seemingly are not associated with the knee. We stretch the whole body.
